Biographical Information[edit]

Carter Elliott played 12 games in September with the 1921 Chicago Cubs. He hit .250 with 5 walks and a couple doubles. He was seven years younger than teammate Pete Alexander.

For most of 1921, he had been playing with the Yakima Indians, for whom he hit .355 with 27 doubles in 111 games. The previous year he had hit .317 with 19 doubles in 120 games while playing much of the 1920 season with the Victoria Islanders.

He played winter ball in California during the 1921-22 winter. [1]

Carter is not the same person as Rowdy Elliott, who played for the Cubs a few years earlier than Carter did.
