Biographical Information

Carlos Maldonado coached for Panama in the 2003 Baseball World Cup and 2007 Baseball World Cup. He had pitched for them in the 1998 Baseball World Cup; despite being their only hurler with major league experience, he struggled with four runs in 2 2/3 IP. Only Roberto Hernandez and Edwin Saldana had higher ERAs for Panama in that Cup.
