Carlos Elizalde has pitched for over a decade.
Elizalde debuted in 1999 with the Oaxaca Warriors, going 0-1 with a 6.35 ERA in two games. He returned two years later and was 4-5 with a save and 6.25 ERA. The right-hander improved to 9-6, 3.38 for the 2002 Warriors then had a 6-4, 5.03 record in 2003. In 2004, he was 10-3 with a 4.35 ERA and tied for fourth in the Mexican League in victories. He faded fast, to 1-2, 6.85 in 2005.
Elizalde rebounded in 2006 to go 13-7 with a 3.33 ERA. He was 5th in the LMB in ERA and tied Alonso Beltran for the most wins. Carlos had a 5-2, 4.25 record in 2007, walking just 20 in 103 2/3 innings. He struggled for Oaxaca in 2008, going 8-11 with a 6.06 ERA. Moving to the Nuevo Laredo Owls, he went 5-9 with a save and a 4.98 ERA in 2009 and 6-5 with a 4.21 ERA in 2010.
Carlos pitched for the Mexican national team in the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games.
