Biographical Information[edit]

Carl Sjölin has played in the Elitserien and for the Swedish national team.

In the 1999 European Championship, he pitched one game for Sweden (1 2/3 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER); only Stefan Appelbo had a higher ERA for the Swedes. [1] His Elitserien stats prior to 2008 are unavailable online as of 5/5/19. In 2008, he was 1-4 with a 7.51 ERA for the Sundbyberg Heat. He improved to 4-1, 5.10 in 2009. He tied for 10th in the league in wins.

During 2010, the right-hander had a 0-3, 9.76 record. In 2011, he did not pitch, going 1 for 4 on offense. In 2012, he had a 6.51 ERA and no decisions. He was 1-2, 3.57 in 2013 and 1-0 with a 9.00 ERA in 2014 at age 39. [2]
