Biographical Information[edit]

Carl McNabb struck out in his one plate appearance for the 1945 Detroit Tigers and never made it back to the majors. However, he had a long minor league career from 1936-50 and he managed the Tyler Trojans in 1949, being replaced on June 11th.

After his baseball career, McNabb moved to Jasper, Tennessee, where he ran a grocery store and later was a mail carrier for 22 years. He died in 2007 at age 90.
