Candtobal Encarnacion was a catcher for two and a half years in college. His senior season, he was a star pitcher, going 9-2 with a save and a 3.75 ERA. He tied for the Southwestern Athletic Conference lead in wins and made All-Conference as a pitcher. He is with the Virgin Islands for the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games.
