Camelback Ranch
Camelback Ranch is a ballpark in Phoenix, AZ. It takes its name from Camelback Mountain, which can be seen behind the outfield fence. While the ballpark's street address is in Phoenix, the park is owned and operated by the nearby city of Glendale, AZ (the official name of the facility is "Camelback Ranch - Glendale").
The ballpark opened in 2009 as the shared spring training home of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox. The AZL Dodgers also began playing here in 2009. Its seating capacity is around 10,000, with the possibility of hosting another 3,000 fans on the grass berms behind the outfield fence. Practice fields for both teams are also situated within the complex. An artificial lake separates the areas allocated to the two teams and each team has a practice field which reproduces the exact dimensions of its home park (Dodger Stadium and U.S. Cellular Field, respectively).
