Biographical Information[edit]
Calín Rodríguez was a catcher, first baseman and outfielder in the Dominican Republic. He was on the Dominican national team in the 1941 Amateur World Series; the utility man got into one game. He was also a great javelin thrower, setting the Dominican record (49.78) in 1937.
