Biographical Information[edit]
Caitlin Everett has played for the US women's national team.
Everett hit .492 in high school softball; she stole 106 bases as a junior and senior and made All-State. As a center fielder on her college's softball squad, she batted .353/.397/.382 as a freshman with 20 steals in 22 tries, making second-team All-Conference USA. She improved to .407/.463/.479 as a sophomore with 35 steals in 41 tries. She led Conference USA in steals, hits (79), average and OBP. As a junior in 2012, the Dallas native hit .366/.414/.459 with 55 runs and 35 steals (caught 4 times) in 56 games. She set a school record for runs and was All-Conference for the second straight year.
Everett then joined Team USA for the 2012 Women's Baseball World Cup and was used as a starting outfielder.
