Biographical Information

C. C. Johnson was a college baseball coach.

Johnson, aka Jack, graduated from Elon in 1914. In 1916, he became Elon's head baseball coach for five seasons, leaving after the 1920 season. He also was the athletic director at Elon for four years. In 1926, he was named head baseball coach for the University of Colorado. He coached for two seasons before tragically passing away during surgery for appendicitis.
