Jun pitched for South Korea in the 2007 Asian Championship. The move did not pay off as Jun allowed 3 runs in 2 1/3 innings as Japan went on to a 4-3 win. The victory helped Japan win a spot directly in the 2008 Olympics, while South Korea had to go through the 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament.

In 2008, Jun completed his career by going 6-6 with a 4.99 ERA. Overall, he had been 72-55 with 5 saves and a 4.43 ERA in 431 outings in the Korea Baseball Organization. In 1,122 2/3 IP, he had allowed 1,198 hits and 488 walks while fanning 579.
