Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Bud McClure spent six years in the minor leagues, pitching in the Chicago Cubs system from 1950-1951 and from 1954-1956 and in the Milwaukee Braves system in 1957. His best year was his first - in 1950, with the Carthage Cubs, he went 15-7 with a 3.02 ERA in 27 games. Per Baseball-Reference, his statistical record is incomplete, however it is known that he won at least 49 games in his career.
