Biographical Information[edit]

Bucky Jacobsen played for the Seattle Mariners and later with the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League. He was with Seattle for the second half of the 2004 season and hit pretty well, with a slugging percentage of .500, thanks to 9 doubles and 9 homers in 42 games. Defensively, he split his time almost evenly between first base and designated hitter. Already 28 at the time of his debut, he was not considered a prospect, and never received another chance to play in the majors after his initial stint, in spite of his good results.
