Biographical Information[edit]
Bucky Guth got into three games with the Minnesota Twins in 1972.
The only other major leaguer (through 2008) with the last name Guth is Charlie Guth.
He was the only player from West Virginia University who made his major league debut during the 1970s and 1980s although Paul Popovich, who had broken in during the 1960s, was still playing when Guth came up.
Guth spent most of 1972 and 1973 with the Tacoma Twins.
