Biographical Information

Bryan Oelkers was the second player born in Spain to break into the major leagues, after Al Cabrera. Oelkers was drafted fourth overall in the 1982 amateur draft, immediately before Dwight Gooden.

As of 2022, Oelkers lived in Bridgeton, MO which is a suburb of St. Louis, MO.
