Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Bryan King was taken by the Houston Astros from the Chicago Cubs in the minor league portion of the 2022 Rule V Draft. He had originally been drafted by the Cubs in the 30th round of the 2019 amateur draft out of McNeese State University. On June 28, 2022, playing for the Tennessee Smokies of the Southern League, he was one of four pitchers to combine their efforts to throw a 2-0 no-hitter against the Rocket City Trash Pandas; he was the third pitcher for Tennessee that day.
