Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Bryan Baker was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 11th round of the 2016 amateur draft out of the University of North Florida. He had earlier been drafted in the 40th round of the 2013 amateur draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates coming out of high school. In the middle of the 2018 season, the Rockies traded him to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for veteran reliever Seunghwan Oh.

He made his debut with the Blue Jays on September 5, 2021, pitching in relief against the Oakland Athletics, pitching a scoreless inning with an 8-0 lead.
