Biographical Information

Bry Nelson's professional career began in 1994. He has played in the United States, Mexico, Japan, Venezuelan and Italy and spent more than a decade in independent baseball.

For all his travels, he stopped only briefly in the majors — with the Boston Red Sox in 2002. Then 28 years old, he hit .265 in 34 at-bats.

In 2013, he reached 200 professional home runs and 2015, at 41 years old, he eclipsed 2,500 hits.
