Biographical Information

Bruce Hitt served in the U.S. Navy during World War I. He pitched two games for the St. Louis Cardinals on September 23 and 30, 1917 He was a physical therapist at the Veterans Hospital in Roseburg, OR before retiring in 1969 and moving to Santa Maria, CA. He is buried at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR.
