Biographical Information[edit]
Brock Hammit graduated from High Point University with a degree in business administration. He played the outfield and completed his college playing career in 2018. His hometown is listed as Nixa, MO.
The Milwaukee Brewers hired Hammit for a development coach position in 2020 with the AZL Brewers Blue before COVID-19 caused the minor league season to be cancelled. It appears he was a development coach somewhere in the Brewers organization in 2021. He returned as a coach in 2022 with the ACL Brewers Blue.
Hammit moved to the St. Louis Cardinals' organization as hitting coach for the Springfield Cardinals in 2023. The following year he served as the Cardinals minor league assistant hitting coordinator.
