Biographical Information[edit]
Britt Smith has been a college coach.
Smith hit .396 as an outfielder at West Texas A&M, setting a school record for average in a season; he was All-Lone Star Conference. He was then assistant coach at West Texas A&M from 1996-1998, at Lubbock Christian University in 1999 and at Texas Tech University in 2000-2001. In 2002-2003, he was assistant at Howard College. He then became Howard's head coach, going 395-125 in his first 9 years. He went 63-1 in 2009 as his team won the NJCAA title. He stepped down after the 2016 season to become southwest regional coordinator for Perfect Game.
