The Bristol Red Sox were an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox in the AA Eastern League from 1973 to 1982. They played their home games at Muzzy Field in Bristol, Connecticut and won three league titles. In 1983, the club relocated to New Britain, Connecticut and became the New Britain Red Sox.
