Brian Wede is a college coach.
Wede was 95-86 as head coach of South O'Brien High School from 2001-2006. He was also assistant coach of Northwestern College in 2005-2006, then became their head coach. Northwestern has won GPAC Championships in 2008, 2010, 2011, and both tournament and regular season in 2013 and 2018.

A number of his former players have all been named All-Americans. They are: Mihai Burlea, Codie Zeutenhorst, Brad Payne, Matt Negaard, Tyler Stuerman, Cody Groskreutz, Mitch Peschon (twice), Drew Schutt. Burlea, Payne, Mike Zoellner, Ryan Brasser, Chase Davis, and Drew Schutt have all continued their careers professionally.
