Biographical Information

After his playing career, Brian Traxler worked as a coach in the Los Angeles Dodgers minor league system. He slipped into a coma following the 2004 season and passed away at the age of 37.

He only had one career hit in the majors, in 11 at-bats. It came as a pinch-hitter on May 10, 1990 and was a double off Dennis Martinez of the Montreal Expos.
