Biographical Information

Brian Hunter was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Phillies organization in 1981. He began his professional career with the Bend Phillies that year, going 7-4 with a 6.23 ERA and making the Northwest League All-Star team. The next year, he pitched for the Spartanburg Traders and again pitched well, going 12-7 with a 3.17 ERA. 1983 would be his last season, however, pitching in only one perfect inning for the Peninsula Pilots.
