Biographical Information

Brett Kennedy pitched in independent ball from 2012 to 2014. Between the Alpine Cowboys and Gateway Grizzlies in 2012, he was 6-4 with a 2.52 ERA in 16 games (10 starts); in 78 2/3 innings, he allowed just 19 walks and had 74 strikeouts. He was 7-4, 4.11 in 19 games (16 starts) between the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings and Southern Illinois Miners in 2013 and in 2014, he was 5-2, 4.55 in 11 games (10 starts) for Alpine. Overall, Kennedy was 18-10 with a 3.71 ERA in 46 games (36 starts). In 247 1/3 innings, he allowed 244 hits and 69 walks, while striking out 194 batters.

He managed the Cowboys to a 41-26, 1st-place finish in 2015. The team lost in the first round of the playoffs.
