Biographical Information[edit]
Brent Shelton has been a college coach.
He was assistant coach at P.K. Yonge High School (2001), Liberty County High School (2002) and Chipola College (2003) then was head coach of Sneads High School in 2004-2005. Returning to Chipola as an assistant from 2006-2009 (the team won a national title in 2007), he then moved on to the University of Southern Mississippi (2011-2012). He spent 2013-2014 as an area scout for the Minnesota Twins (signing Brian Navarreto) then had a third stint with Chipola (2014-2015). He spent five years as a biology and microbiology professor then became head coach of Coastal Alabama Community College South in 2021.
