Biographical Information[edit]

Brent Cookson played parts of two seasons in the majors, 1995 with the Kansas City Royals and 1999 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, batting just .150/.190/.175 in 25 games. He also played eleven seasons in the minors, with a terrific .295/.378/.565 on the farm. He was leading the Pacific Coast League in homers in 2000 when he left to play in the KBO, something the Dodgers negotiated since they had a working agreement with the LG Twins. In 43 games in parts of two seasons, he batted .219/.314/.404 with eight home runs.
