Breno Brenes (El Gorila)
Breno Brenes played for the Dominican national team in the 1959 Pan American Games. He signed with the San Francisco Giants but never played for them due to bursitis. He then became active with the Dominican Popular Movement, a socialist group opposed to Rafael Trujillo's dictatorship, training many of their fighters.
