Biographical information[edit]

Brandon Weeden, the brother of Tyler Weeden, was a 2nd round draft choice by the New York Yankees in 2002. He spent two years in the Yankees system before being dealt to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Kevin Brown trade. He was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the AAA phase of the 2005 Rule V Draft.

After retiring from baseball after the 2006 season Weeden returned home to Oklahoma and joined the Oklahoma State University football team as a quarterback. He was a 1st round pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2012 NFL Draft.
