Biographical Information[edit]
Brandon Nelson was a pitcher for four years at Willamette University and graduated in 2019 with a degree in computer science. He worked a variety of jobs while in college, including one year as an assistant strength & conditioning coach for a fitness center.
In 2020 the Kansas City Royals hired Nelson to serve as the development coach for the Wilmington Blue Rocks before COVID-19 forced a shutdown of the minor league season. Nelson will return as a development coach in 2021 with one of the Royals' minor league teams.
