Biographical Information[edit]
Brandon McDaniel studied kinesiology and exercise science in college before obtaining a graduate degree in human movement.
His first job in baseball was as the minor league strength and conditioning coach for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2007 to 2010. He then worked as a personal trainer and performance coach for Department of Defense contractor, before being hired by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2012. He was the major league strength coach until 2018, then became director of player performance, being given the title of Vice-President in 2021. In 2025, he was listed as a member of the major league coaching staff with the title of "Major League Development Integration Coach".
