Biographical Information[edit]

Pinder played high school baseball at Centennial High School in Corona, CA. He began his college career at Santa Ana College before attending and getting drafted from Long Beach State in the 16th round of the 2011 Amateur Draft. He made his major league debut April 12, 2015 with the New York Yankees throwing one inning and allowing one hit in a 7-5 loss to Baltimore Orioles. He was then optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. In April of 2016 Pinder tore his UCL and elected to get Tommy John surgery forgoing the rest of the 2016 season. In July 2017 he was released by the Yankees. The Los Angeles Angels signed Pinder August 4, 2017 and released him June 18, 2018. Ten days later he signed with the independent Long Island Ducks. Pinder announced his retirement July 23, 2018.
