Biographical Information

Starting pitcher Brady Wager has pitched in the Baltimore Orioles minor league system since 2012 (through 2014).

He was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 27th round of the 2009 amateur draft out of high school, but opted not to sign. He did sign after being taken by the Orioles in the 9th round of the 2012 amateur draft. The signing scout was John Gillette.

He pitched for the GCL Orioles and Aberdeen IronBirds in 2012, going 0-4 with a 4.81 ERA in 12 games (9 starts). In 2013, with the Delmarva Shorebirds and Frederick Keys, Wager went 5-13 with 2 complete games and a 4.89 ERA in 24 starts. He began 2014 with Frederick.
