Biographical Information

Brad Rigby had bad luck as rookie pitching 14 starts for the Oakland Athletics in 1997. During that span, he had seven poor outings which earned him 7 losses and seven solid outings which earned him only one win. At one point, he pitched six consecutive starts in which he allowed 2 or fewer runs (1.85 ERA during this stretch) and recorded no wins for his efforts.
