Biographical Information[edit]

Brad Kilby was drafted by the Oakland A's in the 29th round of the 2005 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Scott Kidd and made his pro debut that summer.

Kilby pitched in the minors from 2005 to 2010, posting well over a strikeout per inning every year except 2008. He pitched 16 major league games in 2009 and 2010, all for Oakland, posting 28 strikeouts in 25 1/3 innings. His career ERA was 1.07, the lowest for any pitcher with 25 innings or more.
