Biographical Information[edit]
Brad Bennett was chosen by the New York Yankees in the 34th round of the 1980 Amateur Draft, 778th overall. He spent 3 years playing A ball in the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals organizations as an outfielder.
White at Fresno State, Bennett was Rookie of the Year in 1979, All-Region post-season award winner in 1979 and 1980, and was chosen for the All-NCBA All Team selections for both years as well. He was inducted into the Fresno State Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993 as a Spring Inductee.
Post-baseball, he operated a franchised batting school business. He was approached by an Allstate Insurance representative who offered him a job running his own business as an insurance agent. He moved up the ladder with the company, and would spend the next 25 years in the insurance business. He worked in senior management in the Asian insurance market for several years, before returning to the US in 2011. He was named the President of the Combined Insurance division of the ACE Group in 2012.
