Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Boyd Veal went 3-7 with a 6.28 ERA and 1.95 WHIP for the Mount Vernon Kings of the Mississippi-Ohio Valley League in 1949. Following his baseball days, he became a police officer, rising to the rank of Police Chief in Signal Mountain, Tennessee.
