Biographical Information[edit]

Boomer Walker succeeded his father Skip Walker as head coach at Southern Idaho.

Walker was a shortstop as a player in college. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Northeast Louisiana in 1995, then was assistant coach at Southern Idaho from 1996-2003. After replacing his father at the reigns, he had a 245-161 record in his first seven years.
