Biographical Information[edit]
Bobby Kline appeared in 77 games for the Washington Senators in 1955. The regular shortstop was Jose Valdivielso, who appeared in 94 games. Kline had been with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1954, and after his year with the Senators he was traded to the New York Yankees, although he did not appear in the majors with them.
Kline, who also pitched in one game in 1955, was the same age as Senators pitcher Mickey McDermott, who had been up since 1948.
