Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Bobby Crocker played in the minor leagues from 2011 to 2015.

He was drafted by the Oakland Athletics twice -- initially in the 38th round of the 2008 amateur draft, then in the 4th round of the 2011 amateur draft, one pick after pitcher Mike Clevinger. The scout was JT Stotts.

Crocker possessed decent power and plus speed, stealing 17 bases in 2012, 22 bags in 2013 and 31 in 2014. He added 11 home runs in both 2013 and 2014. His skill set did not help the strikeout-prone ballplayer, who played only nine games above A-ball. On June 11, 2015, he retired, hitting .274/.342/.413 with 31 home runs, 179 RBI and 81 stolen bases in five seasons.
