Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Bob White played in the Baltimore Orioles system from 1955 to 1958. Perhaps his best campaign was his last, 1958, when he hit .228/.331/.343 with 7 home runs, 59 RBI and 18 doubles in 108 games between the Aberdeen Pheasants and Dublin Orioles. The year before, he hit .255/.346/.338 with 32 walks to just 29 strikeouts for the Lake Charles Giants, but he played only 70 games. Overall, he hit .222/.311/.310 with 16 home runs, 143 RBI and 248 hits over 329 games. He later ran a steel company.
