Bob Mabee

Bob Mabee pitched for Team Canada. His son Henry Mabee played in the minors and for Team Canada and his grandson Oliver Mabee was a candidate for the Canadian junior national team in 2021. <refF> Times Colonist article </ref>

Bob Mabee debuted in 1962 for the Victoria Eagles, going 4-1 in the Victoria Senior Amateur League. [1] He was with the Victoria Independents in 1964-1965. [2] He was 8-6 and hit .315 for the Victoria Transport Workers in 1969. [3] He was with Canada for the 1970 Amateur World Series. [4]

He was 4-3 for Greaves Movers in 1976. [5] His statistical record is incomplete but he was still active as of 1979. [6] He later managed and coached in Canada. [7] He told his team in 2016 that they could shave off his long hair if they won all four games on a road trip and they succeeded, leaving him bald. [8]
