Bob Mabee

Bob Mabee pitched for Team Canada. His son Henry Mabee played in the minors and for Team Canada and his grandson Oliver Mabee was a candidate for the Canadian junior national team in 2021. <refF> Times Colonist article </ref>

Bob Mabee debuted in 1962 for the Victoria Eagles, going 4-1 in the Victoria Senior Amateur League. He was with the Victoria Independents in 1964-1965. He was 8-6 and hit .315 for the Victoria Transport Workers in 1969. He was with Canada for the 1970 Amateur World Series.

He was 4-3 for Greaves Movers in 1976. His statistical record is incomplete but he was still active as of 1979. He later managed and coached in Canada. He told his team in 2016 that they could shave off his long hair if they won all four games on a road trip and they succeeded, leaving him bald.
