Biographical Information[edit]
Bob DuPuy became President and COO of Major League Baseball on March 7, 2002. He had been an attorney for MLB since 1989, originally as outside legal counsel and later as Chief Legal Officer. He helped oversee the consolidation of American League and National League administrations. After college, DuPuy had served in Vietnam with the 504th Military Police Battalion. He has also taught at several law schools.
