Biographical Information[edit]
Second baseman Robert Clifton played in the Kansas City Athletics system from 1965 to 1967.
In 1965, he hit .313 with 132 hits, 10 triples and 8 home runs in 115 games for the Shelby Rebels. He hit .299 with 144 hits and 19 home runs for the Burlington (IA) Bees in 1966 and in 1967, he hit .265/.345/.367 with 7 home runs and 75 RBI in 127 games for the Peninsula Grays.
Overall, he hit .292 with 390 hits, 17 triples and 34 home runs in 366 games.
