Biographical Information

Bob Blake pitched for two seasons in the minor leagues. The Minnesota Twins took him in the 41st round of the 1974 amateur draft but he did not appear in pro ball until 1978. That year, he had a 4-4, 4.50 record for the Wisconsin Rapids Twins. He split '79 between Wisconsin Rapids (7-2, 2.78) and the Orlando Twins (3-6, 4.94). Had he qualified, he would have been fifth in the Midwest League in ERA. For his career, he went 14-12 with a 4.07 ERA.
