Biographical information[edit]
Bob Allaire was a minor league baseball infielder who played from 1934 to 1937 and from 1946 to 1947.
He began his career in 1934 with the Toledo Mud Hens, hitting .292 in 128 games with them. The next season, he hit .269 in 144 games for the Mud Hens. In 1936, he played for the Tulsa Oilers, hitting .285 in 136 games. For the Des Moines Demons in 1937, he hit .284 with ten stolen bases in 119 games.
From 1938 to 1945, he did not play professional baseball. He came back in 1946, hitting .282 in 29 games for the Lamesa Lobos. In 1947, he hit only .082 in 49 at-bats for the Visalia Cubs.
Overall, he hit .278 in 570 minor league games.
He served in World War II.
