Biographical Information

Pitcher Bo Blessie began his professional career in 2023. He had originally been drafted out of high school by the Washington Nationals in the 36th round of the 2018 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. In succeeding years, he went undrafted by major league teams, but he latched on with the independent Great Falls Voyagers of the Pioneer League for 2023. He made 10 relief appearances and struck out 15 batters in 9 2/3 innings. However, he also had a 1.966 WHIP and 9.31 ERA.

His father, Brian Blessie, has coached at the college level.
