In 1900 the Bloomington Blues won the Central League title with a 64-34 record for a .654 winning pct. This gave them a 8 1/2 game margin over the runner-up Danville Champions. George Reed was the team manager. The Blues' Red Wright led the league with a .329 BA along with 130 base hits. His teammate Charles Elsey had 130 base hits.
