Bill Stair
William H. Stair
Biographical Information[edit]
Bill Stair was a minor league pitcher who played in 6 known games for the Columbus Foxes of the South Atlantic League in 1914. Given that little to nothing is known about his performance that year, it is almost certain that this number is incomplete. He joined the Gettysburg Patriots of the Blue Ridge League in 1915 and appeared in 23 games for them as a hitter. He only collected 7 hits in 56 at-bats, but still scored 3 runs and stole 1 base.
